Dear Members and Friends
of Unity of Kalamazoo,
Fall is upon us and we
are blessed as we bask in the vibrant colors of the season. October marks my
4th anniversary as Senior Minister of Unity of Kalamazoo. We have had an exciting and expansive year at
Unity of Kalamazoo where “We Love Our Church!” As the year winds down we celebrate our
Prosperity Consciousness, Outreach and Inclusivity, and budding Marketing
teams. Through these teams we have created ways to express our gratitude for
our ongoing prosperity, our outreach to the greater Kalamazoo community and a
way to share our message with the world. We love our Volunteers!! We are
highlighting a Volunteer team each month. Our Fall Faith book study is in full swing as
we look deeper into how we can share our spiritual gifts with the world by
doing what we love.
Hopefully you were able
to attend our Annual meeting on October 25th. If not, minutes will be posted on
the Unity bulletin board across from the main office. The destruction of the
Wellness Cottage is giving birth to new opportunities to recreate that space.
We have a Visioning team working on how to best use the space. If you have ideas, please submit them to the
office and the information will be passed on to the Visioning team.
November begins the
holiday season. We invite you and your family to join us on Sunday, November 22nd,
immediately following the service for our Annual Bountiful Feast, were we come
together to break bread in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Our 2015 Advent services
begin November 29th. The Advent theme this year is “All Is Calm, All Is
Bright.” Please join us as we prepare
our hearts to embrace a deeper knowing of the Christ within. The holidays are awesome opportunities to
bring your family and friends to celebrate with your spiritual community.
As always I look forward
to seeing you. Enclosed you will find a list of all the great upcoming events
at Unity of Kalamazoo.
suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising
God and saying, Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among
those whom he favors. Luke: 2: 13-14
We Love You, We Bless You & We Behold the Christ
We wish you a Merry Christmas, A Happy New Year and An
Abundant Holiday Season!
Peace & Love,
Rev. Joslyn Mason
